My journey began in the world of financial services.

I started out in financial services, spending over twenty years knee-deep in KYC (Know Your Client) and Compliance.

Yep, I was KYC-ing before it was ‘trendy.’

In that time, I worked in big banks and small spread-betting firms, on large teams and as a lone wolf.

I set up customer databases, created workflows, and researched multinational corporations—at one point, I was even risk-assessing Brazilian grain farms.

There was never a dull day!

Then, one day, I decided life was too short. I wanted to do what I truly loved: writing.

Since then, I’ve worked with businesses of all shapes and sizes—from beauty brands to construction companies to tech providers.

But I do venture out of the house!

I love brunches, dinners, and city breaks. And one day, I’ll finally tick safari off my bucket list and see those magnificent giraffes in the wild.
